SPINDLE ASSEMBLY: Super precision spindle machined and ground from special alloy steel for accuracy, rigidity and long life.

SPINDLE BEARINGS: Preloaded, high speed, heavy duty ball bearings for extreme rigidity under heavy loads and deep cuts.

SPINDLE LUBRICATION: Lubricated by visible oil mist feeder.

SPINDLE TRAVEL: 0" - 3" by pneumatic foot pedal.  Plunge speed is variable via a rotary control knob.

GUIDE PIN UNIT: Extends and retracts by pneumatic cylinder triggered by spindle movement. 

DRIVE MOTOR: Standard motor is 10 H.P., heavy duty, totally enclosed fan cooled, 3,600 RPM, 230/460 volt, 60 cycle, three-phase electric. *Also available: 380 volt and 415 volt 50 cycle three phase, 575 volt 60 cycle three phase.

DRIVE BELT: Endless flat belt of specially formulated rubber and fabric for long life and smooth vibration free power transmission

COLLET: Self-releasing collet-chuck assembly is manufactured from heat-treated alloy steel.  Collets are available in virtually any size, ranging from 1/8" capacity through 3/4" capacity, including metric sizes.  Standard sizes supplied with machines are 1/2", 3/8" and 1/4" collets.

MAIN FRAME: Heavy wall, stress relieved cast iron.

TABLE: 31-2" x 47-2" x 1-3/4" acrylic topped phenolic that will not mar the work-piece and absorbs cutting vibrations.

DUST COLLECTION SYSTEM: Grill and chamber built into table for highly efficient dust collecting.

THROAT CLEARANCE: Crotch of C-frame to center of spindle and guide pin 36-1/4". 

ELECTRICAL CONTROLS: Low voltage (110V) magnetic motor-starter and interlock controls with push button Stop/Start.  Cutler-Hammer Freedom Series Starter with adjustable overload protection.

STANDARD ACCESSORIES: Includes a full set of wrenches for machine set-up, tooling kit, and preliminary instruction manual.

PNEUMATIC CONTROLS: Foot valve retracts guide pin and spindle.  Safety feature will not allow cutter to engage work piece until guide pin is in its full down position.  Machine will not start unless air pressure is present on machine.

GUIDE PINS: Interchangeable guide pins mount in retracting guide pin assembly.  Available in any size; inch or metric.  Standard with machine are 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" diameter guide pins.

MAIN DEPTH STOP: Infinitely adjustable and conveniently located for quick and exact cutter height adjustment.

THREE POSITION TURRET DEPTH STOP: Three independently adjustable and easily accessible stops for quick and convenient multi-level routing.

SAFETY FEATURE: Cutter fully retracts beneath the surface of the table to keep dangerous cutting edges away from operator while positioning part.

577-2 LOWER DEPTH STOP: The lower depth stop allows the retracted height of the cutter to be limited to the depth that optimizes the stroke length for the shortest possible cycle time.

Electric, 10CFM unit - Includes thermally protected motor and pump with muffler, filter and gauge as a complete unit ready to plug into 115/220 volt, 50/60 cycle, single (1) phase power.  Includes control hand-valve with filter, vacuum gauge, and mounting hardware.  Piping, fittings, 3/8" x 1/8" closed-cell foam vacuum tape and instructions also included.

RISER BLOCK: Adds an extra 1-1/2 inches clearance between the over-arm and the table, for machining taller parts.
